What a post-tensioning system includes

A complete post-tensioning system consists of tendons (high-strength seven-wire strands), ducts (metal or plastic), end anchorages and couplers, plus the stressing and grouting equipment. EKKAF covers the entire chain: supply of certified materials, installation, stressing with calibrated jacks, preparation of stressing protocols, and grouting of the ducts for corrosion protection.

  • Bridges: precast prestressed beams, segmental construction, deck slabs, continuous decks.
  • Buildings: long-span post-tensioned slabs, transfer beams, special structural systems.
  • Tanks and silos: circumferential prestressing for watertightness and hoop tension capacity.
